Create your Bytesize account
Sign up with Google or email and start a free Bytesize page.
A Bytesize account gives you a public page at bytesize.me/yourhandle where you can bring your videos, music, posts, products, and links together in one place. Creating an account is free, and you can build and publish a page without ever adding a card. This guide covers signing up from scratch.
Sign up
- Go to bytesize.me and select Get started, or open bytesize.me/signup directly.
- To use Google, select Sign Up with Google and pick the account you want.
- To use email instead, type your address in the Email field and select Sign Up with Magic Link.
- Complete the quick Cloudflare check if it appears. It confirms you are a real person, not a bot.
- If you signed up with email, watch for the Check your inbox screen, then open the magic link from that email to finish signing in.
Pick your handle
After you sign in for the first time, you land on the Snag your Bytesize URL screen. Type the handle you want in the User Handle field, which becomes bytesize.me/yourhandle, then select Claim My Link. Choose something short and recognizable, because this is the link you will paste into every social bio. Your handle has to be unique, so if it is already taken you will be asked to pick another.
Finish onboarding
Claiming your handle drops you into a short setup flow that walks through your display name, bio, profile photo, and your first few links. You can skip any step and change all of it later from the dashboard, so it is fine to move fast here and polish the page afterward.
Your account is keyed to your email address, so Google sign-in and magic links both reach the same account as long as the address matches. The thing to avoid is mixing addresses: a magic link sent to a different email creates a brand-new, empty account rather than logging into your page.
Troubleshooting
