Claim your Bytesize profile
Turn an unclaimed preview page into your real Bytesize account.
Sometimes Bytesize builds a preview page for a creator ahead of time, already filled with their links and content, so they can see the page before signing up. If you landed on a page that looks like yours but you never made an account, it is a preview waiting to be claimed. Claiming it takes ownership of that handle and connects the page to your account. It is free, and you do not need to enter payment details.
Claim from a preview page
- Open the preview page that shows your links.
- Select Claim my free page in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- On the claim screen, select Continue with Google or Sign up with email.
- If you used email, open the magic link we send to finish creating your account.
What happens after you claim
Once your account is created, we attach the preview to it and you become the owner of that handle. You land on a confirmation screen that shows your public URL with an Open dashboard button and a Copy button. From the dashboard you can edit every section, manage your links, and, on Creator Pro, change your theme. Because the page started as a preview built for you, all of its existing content is yours to edit or remove; Creator Pro features like theme customization still require an upgrade, exactly as on any other account. If any links or content in the preview are out of date, open the matching section, update it, and select Save Changes. To find your way around the editor, see the articles on editing your header and managing your links.
The claim flow never asks for a card. If you see a request for payment before your account exists, you are not on the real claim screen. No payment is needed to claim a page.
Troubleshooting
- The handle I want is on a preview that is not mine
