Add a music section
Embed a Spotify, Apple Music, or SoundCloud player on your page.
Music sections put a playable embed on your page so fans can hear a track, album, or playlist without leaving. Bytesize has a separate section for each music platform: Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music. Each one shows a real player, not just a link, so fans can press play right on your page. These sections are available on the free plan.
Add a music section
- On the Profile tab, select + Add New Section.
- In the Music group of Select Section, choose Spotify, Soundcloud, or Apple Music.
- Paste the share link for the track, album, or playlist into the URL field.
- Select Add to Page. Bytesize detects whether the link is a song, album, playlist, artist, or podcast and shows the right player.
Where to find the share link
- Spotify: open the item, select the menu, choose Share, then Copy link.
- Apple Music: open the item and use the Share option to copy its link.
- SoundCloud: use the Share button on a track or playlist to copy the link.
Want more than one platform on your page? Add a separate section for each. A common setup is a Spotify player up top with an Apple Music section right below so fans can pick where they listen.
Troubleshooting
- The embed says private or unavailable
- The track or playlist has to be public on the source platform. Set it to public, copy a fresh share link, and paste the new URL into the section.
- The wrong player type appeared
- The section reads the link to decide whether it is a song, album, playlist, artist, or podcast. If it guessed wrong, you most likely pasted a link to a different item than you meant. Copy the share link again from the exact track, album, or playlist you want and update the section.
