Preview your public profile
See what visitors see, and why the preview can differ from your live page.
While you edit, the dashboard shows a live phone preview of your page so you can see changes as you make them. Your published page at bytesize.me/yourhandle is what fans actually visit. Knowing the difference between the two, and where to find your real public link, saves a lot of confusion when something looks off.
See your page
- On the Profile tab, look at the phone preview on the right side of the dashboard. It reflects your edits as you type.
- To open your live public page, select your avatar in the top right and choose View Profile, which opens it in a new tab.
- You can also open the Share menu and select Open Bytesize, or just visit bytesize.me/yourhandle directly.
Preview versus live
The phone preview shows your unsaved edits, so it updates the moment you change something. Your live page only changes after you save. That is why the two can look different while you are editing: the preview is ahead of the published page until you select Save Changes. If your edits still do not appear on the live page after saving, see the troubleshooting article on changes not showing.
Share your page
When the page looks right, open the Share menu at the top of the dashboard. It lets you copy your bytesize.me/yourhandle link and generate a QR code you can download as a PNG or SVG. The link is what goes in your social bios, and the QR code works well on printed materials, merch, or a stream overlay.
Most fans open your page on a phone, which is exactly what the preview shows. Check how your page reads on that narrow screen before you share it widely.
