“Romance novels sell an idealized fantasy that we all want to experience. They may be fiction, but there is a reason why so many people connect to love stories. Because that’s the type of feeling we want to give, and want to receive.” I was looking forward to reading this book based on reviews I saw on TikTok. I heard it had Taylor Swift references and the main character had a Taylor Swift playlist. Being a fan I thought I would like this book. After the first steamy scene I skipped all the other ones. I am definitely more a closed door romance girl. It would have been a better book without all that. I am counting this as “A book with alliteration in the title” for the PopSugar reading challenge and “an alliterative title” for the 52 book challenge. This book was just ok for me and I am giving it 🌟🌟🌟! #popsugarreadingchallenge2023 #the52bookclub2023
